These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and SparkOven LLC, the operator of MakeGood. By downloading, accessing, or using MakeGood, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Using MakeGood
You may use MakeGood for personal, noncommercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for the information you submit, the ingredients you confirm, the meals you choose to prepare, and your use of the resulting recipes and guidance.
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use MakeGood on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for them.
Accounts and access
Some features require an account or sign-in through Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping access to your account and device secure and for activity that occurs through your account.
Provide accurate information and let us know promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
The free experience and membership
MakeGood may offer a complete introductory kitchen run without a paid membership. After that experience, an active membership may be required to begin new ingredient-recognition or recipe-generation sessions. Saved recipes and previously available features may remain accessible as described in the app.
Features, limits, and membership benefits may change as the service evolves. Any material changes will be presented in the app or through another appropriate notice.
Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation
Paid memberships are purchased through Apple’s App Store or Google Play and are subject to the purchasing platform’s terms. Unless stated otherwise at purchase, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
You can manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple or Google account settings. Deleting the app or deleting your MakeGood account does not automatically cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their applicable policies.
Recipes, AI, and food safety
MakeGood uses automated systems to recognize ingredients and create recipes. Those systems can make mistakes. An ingredient may be missed, mislabeled, or incorrectly included, and a generated recipe may contain an error or omission.
You are responsible for reviewing ingredient lists, checking quantities and instructions, confirming food condition, and using appropriate food-safety practices. Follow reliable guidance for storage, cross-contamination, allergies, cooking temperatures, and safe handling. Never consume food you believe may be spoiled or unsafe.
MakeGood does not guarantee that a recipe is suitable for a particular allergy, intolerance, dietary restriction, medical condition, or religious practice. Verify every ingredient and make your own judgment before preparing or serving a meal.
No medical or nutritional advice
MakeGood provides cooking ideas and general information, not medical, nutritional, or professional dietary advice. Consult a qualified professional about medical conditions, allergies, nutrition, or other health concerns.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use MakeGood for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
- Interfere with the service, bypass limits, probe for vulnerabilities, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Reverse engineer, copy, scrape, resell, or commercially exploit the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Upload content that violates another person’s rights or contains malicious code.
- Misrepresent your identity or use another person’s account without permission.
Our content and intellectual property

We grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use MakeGood for personal, noncommercial purposes while you comply with these Terms.
Your content and feedback
You retain any rights you have in content you submit. You give us permission to process that content as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve MakeGood.

Third-party services
MakeGood relies on third-party services, including Apple, Google, Supabase, OpenAI, RevenueCat, and other infrastructure providers. Their services may be governed by separate terms and may occasionally be unavailable. We are not responsible for third-party products, services, or policies.
Changes, suspension, and termination
We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, improve the service, respond to legal requirements, or manage the product. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the service, create risk for others, or if continued operation becomes impractical.
You may stop using MakeGood at any time and may delete your account through the process described on our Delete Your Account page.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MakeGood is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation. We do not guarantee that recognition results, recipes, timings, quantities, or other content will be complete, correct, or suitable for your circumstances.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SparkOven LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to MakeGood.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from or related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for MakeGood during the 12 months before the claim or US $100. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SparkOven LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of MakeGood, your submitted content, or your violation of these Terms or another person’s rights.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to SparkOven LLC in the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a formal claim, you and SparkOven agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the other party and allowing 30 days for a response.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection laws.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as MakeGood changes. We will revise the effective date above and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
