Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your MakeGood account from inside the app. You can also ask us to delete it for you.

Delete your account in MakeGood

  1. Open MakeGood and open the app menu.
  2. Choose Settings.
  3. Under your account options, choose Delete Account.
  4. Read the confirmation message and confirm that you want your account deleted.

Ask us to delete it for you

If you can’t access the app, email support@makegood.recipes from the email address connected to your MakeGood account. Use the subject line Delete my MakeGood account.

We may need to verify that the account belongs to you before completing the request. Please don’t send your password, payment information, or other sensitive information by email.

What happens to your data

When your deletion request is completed, your MakeGood account and the personal data associated with it are deleted or de-identified. We may retain limited information when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or transaction-record purposes.

Deleting the MakeGood app from your phone does not delete your account. You must use the in-app deletion option or contact us.

Subscriptions are managed separately

Deleting your MakeGood account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription through the store where you purchased it to prevent future renewal charges.
